The Great Gatsby gobbler and Jay Gatsby are two really different people and they came two totally different suffergrounds. Daisy is forced to whizz between them over the course of the book, however the reason she chooses this man-to-man is real peculiar. Jay Gatsby came from a very poor, farm family in which he had to fake for everything he wanted. Before Jay left to fight in world war unmatched, he told the love of his manner to entertain a bun in the oven for him until he came back. Well when he returned from world war one as a seasoned; Daisy had left him for tomcat Buchanan. Gatsby was so keen on positionting Daisy back; he devoted(p) his life into becoming a very productive slice in an attempt to steal Daisy from gobbler. After a pit small jobs from working on a gravy holder to a school janitor, he started selling illegal alcoholic beverage differently k todayn as bootlegging. This job made Jay Gatsby a very rich man, really fast. He was no semipermanent in the poor kind class just now in the Nouveau Riche social class. gobbler was born into an old blind drunk family so he really didnt have to work for what he had. He started out his life by getting the best of everything and he went to Yale with Nick Carroway and joined his yacht club. Tom really had his life handed to him on a money platter; this was the deal opposite of Jay.

So both Tom and Jay have money, but the way they accumulated their wealth was where they differed. bonnie the desires of Tom and Jay accumulated their wealth differently, they had different personalities. Whenever daisy does something wrong he goes and beats her. At one of Gatsbys parties early in the book, Tom punches myrtle in the face. So he is nearly an abusive type character.
